My personal time has been extremely limited these past few weeks and to say that I’m “on the go” is an understatement. Breakfast, what’s that? You mean a spinach and mushroom egg white omelet with a side of turkey bacon and glass of freshly squeezed orange juice? While that all sounds lovely, I’ll stick to my breakfast in a cup. Plop, plop, blend, blend, and chug. That’s more like it these days.
All kidding aside, I wanted to share this with you for two reasons. If you’re a busy parent with screaming kids, soccer games, and after school activities this might be the answer you’ve been looking for. Corporate robots, I haven’t forgotten you either. Trust me, I was there once too. You need fuel to get through your fifteen hour work day, let alone an exhausting last minute workout at midnight. Perhaps I’m exaggerating just a tad. The point is—we’re all at the mercy of time and it’s easier to live an unhealthy lifestyle than it is to live a healthy one—so I thought.
This Breakfast Smoothie with Strawberries, Blueberries & Banana isn’t just any old smoothie. I would be doing you a disservice if I didn’t mention its star ingredient Shakeology. Ladies and gentlemen, it has changed my life! From zero energy to bouncing off the walls, to smashing my late night snack cravings, to beautifully radiant skin, this has been my secret weapon for the past two months. Who knew that just one scoop a day could provide so much power?
