You probably already know that ginger has a world renowned reputation for its powerful medicinal benefits. It has been used for thousands of years to treat inflammation, nausea, gastrointestinal illnesses, and more. Research has also revealed impressive results of gingers’ effects on obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, gout and various forms of cancer.
-4-5 slices of fresh ginger root
-1-2 lemon wegdes-honey (optional)
-bring 1 1/2 – 2 cups of water to a boil
-add ginger slices and boil for 8-10 minutes
-stir in lemon juice and honey
-pour and serve
